The Cuyahoga Amateur Radio Society is happy to announce that it will once again be sponsoring a bus trip to The Hamvention at the Green County Fairgrounds in Xenia, Ohio.
While the Hamvention runs for several days, the CARS bus will only be visiting the Hamvention on Saturday, May 17, 2025. The 56-passenger bus is modern, comfortable, and wheelchair accessible. We will not be stopping for breakfast on the way down, but there may be a fast-food stop on the way home.
For reservations placed before March 31st, the cost of the bus trip will once again be $50 per person. For reservations placed after March 31st, the cost will be $60 per person.

You may board the bus in Middleburg Heights, Brunswick, or Lodi (Burbank).
Pickup Location #1 (Middleburg Heights): The bus will leave promptly at 5:30 am from the Fin-Feather-Fur parking lot located at
Pickup Location #2 (Brunswick): The bus will also stop at 6:00 am in the Marc’s parking lot located at 3303 Center Rd, Brunswick, Ohio 44212.
Pickup Location #3 (Lodi / Burbank): The bus will also stop at 6:30 am in the Ohio Station Outlets parking lot located at 9911 Avon Lake Rd, Burbank, Ohio 44214. The bus will pick up riders in the front parking lot near the train depot next to I-71.
Every amateur radio operator in the world probably dreams about going to the Hamvention (AKA The Dayton Hamvention) at least once. Please join us in 2024; it is an incredible event and offers something for everyone.
